Our training is delivered in accordance with the Restorative Justice Council’s Best Practice Guidance and complies with the Restorative Services Quality Management mark.
The training is not desk bound! You will be asked to work through case studies in groups, watch video clips, discuss different scenarios and practice skills. You and up to ten other course members will work together through the training guide led by the trainer. The courses are designed to maximise your knowledge, build on your introduction day and help you develop confidence in your skills.
We currently offer:
A half day course for those wanting to know more.
One day training course for those who wish only to act as a second in our restorative justice conferences or work informally in their own work setting.
Two day training course in how to run formal meetings and conferences (usually run consecutively after the Foundation day)
On completion of the Foundation and Practitioner training you need only complete 2 case studies to achieve a BTech 3 qualification and Restorative Justice Council accreditation.
We can occasionally accommodate work experience placements for students taking up a career relevant to RJ practice. Please contact us to discuss before making a formal application.
We are always keen to tailor training to your needs. We have for example devised training for those needing a refresher course or who have worked with different RJ processes in other organisations.
We work very closely with Restorative Solutions one of the leading providers in the country.
We also have close links with TOP Development specialists in people development in a range of settings. firstname.lastname@example.org
